Preparations

  1. Chop or mash the garlic clove. Mix together with the chili sauce, ketjap manis, sugar, soya sauce, a pinch cajun pepper and the sunflower oil, until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Cut the aubergine in approx 7 mm thick slices.
  3. Put them in a bowl together with the marinade for at least 10 min and then grill on both sides.

  • 1 aubergines

  • 5 tbsp chili sauce
  • 4 tbsp ketjap manis
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic
  • A pinch of pepper
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
